Meet the special people that have made The Lord's Table a part of their lives.

Olumide Oluwole

Olumide OluwoleWelcome to The Lord’s Table (TLT). Most people call me “Pastor Olu” derived from Olumide Oluwole — a mouth full eh. I became a member of Jesus House Chicago nine years ago functioning where I was needed from ushering to Sunday school and now I am planted in TLT. I have been a registered nurse for ten years and now venturing into real estate. Three years ago, TLT was under the leadership of Brother Mac Ahams and I volunteered to share the word for fifteen minutes during the Wednesday service and the rest is history. In the last twelve months God has grown TLT in phenomenal ways. Several members have moved from shelters, purchased cars, received healing, and are employed despite their criminal records! To God be all the glory! I must express my gratitude to my mentor and spiritual father, Pastor Bayo Adewole who believes in the mission and vision of TLT and gives every member of the ministry opportunities to grow and find purpose in their lives. God always comes through for TLT, as you will see, every volunteer and member bring seasoning to the ministry. Their hard work and dedication can only be sustained and rewarded by God. Finally, my world is not complete without my beautiful, understanding, and kind wife Bolatito, to whom I have been married to for twelve years. We are blessed with two beautiful children who also rock my world. I hope you will enjoy the testimonies of our members and if the Lord lays it on your heart to support TLT, it will be highly appreciated. God bless you!

Bolatito Oluwole

BolatitoMy name is Bolatito Oluwole. I am an accounting graduate from the University of Illinois and presently run my own business. I’ve been happily married to Pastor Olumide Oluwole for 12 years and are blessed with two beautiful children. I can truly say that being a member of the Lord’s Table has been a blessing for me and my family, it has been very fulfilling. I have really enjoyed working with all the members, especially all my single and married sisters and the brothers of course. I pray that as we continue to do God's work, the Lord will uplift each and every member of the Lords Table and continually bless the members with the spirit of love and excellence. God’s blessing.

Tomike Lana-Olaseinde

TomikeHi! I am Tomike (Tommie) Lana-Olaseinde. I came to The Lord’s Table (TLT) through God’s strategic positioning. I have learned through TLT that every moment of my learning experiences have been purposeful and streamlined to serve this specific population, the homeless. From a personal stand point, I believe housing is a universal right such as food and clothing however, in the society in which we live, we have “at-risk” populations who are unable to obtain or maintain housing (I digress). I love this ministry because of the volunteers who believe in its mission and vision. We have fun (as you will see in our pictures) while we are expected to grow spiritually. When I am not functioning in the ministry, an important aspect of my life is my family—especially my husband who understands my late nights for God’s purpose. In times of leisure, I love to cook, read, watch movies, and play board games. My personal philosophy, ---"Life is not measured by the breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away” ~ (Anonymous). God’s blessings!

Bob Flink

BobMy name is Bob Flink. In July 2006 I was invited to Jesus House Chicago's Picnic. Since then I've been a member of this special congregation. When I learned they had an outreach ministry. I started coming on Saturdays, but my Wednesday nights were upstairs with the Search the Scriptures congregation. Then one day I came downstairs to check out the Wednesday night Lord's Table Sermon. I saw that they could use some help on Wednesday nights, so I've been coming Saturdays and Wednesdays since the fall of 2006. They have put me in charge of the Lord's Table Kitchen. I enjoy spending my time with not only the exceptional volunteers that help out at the Lord's Table, but also the people we help.

Elizabeth

I am Elizabeth. As an International Ministry major, it is a blessing and honor to be a part of the Lord’s Table Ministry. Being a part of the Lord’s Table Ministry is aiding me in becoming whom God has made me. God has given me a desire to help those who are brokenhearted and let them know how much HE loves them and wants to give them, joy, peace, and a bright future. Through the ministry, God is equipping me for my future goals in tending to children all over the world. I am thankful for this opportunity to be in the Lord’s Table family and, my prayer is that I can serve the ministry in a manner pleasing to Him and do all He has called me to do.
